Collection: Putting the Stories to Paper
The examined life is worth living and worth writing down. To say anything of meaning you must think of your audience. I have prioritized my words to address the needs of my primary audience. In the course of addressing the needs of my children I also address the needs of young women and young men as well as parents. The stories encourage parents to give good gifts to their children because what you give to a child will shape who he becomes. The stories help young people navigate the transition to adulthood by giving them tools by which to overcome the vagaries endemic to maturing and becoming responsible for the impression you leave upon our society. However, I remember not to take myself too seriously and I remember to celebrate the humor in the many ironies that life presents.
